The quest for love and happiness dominates our lives, but what defines whether we are happy or not? And what is the effect of happiness on our body? BODY WORLDS: The Happiness Project explores these questions throughout the seven levels of the exhibition. Our mood can affect our health which is then visible in our body. Discover the secrets of the body and learn about its functions from a unique perspective. Visit BODY WORLDS Amsterdam and see the human body like never before!
Specimens on display stem from the Institute for Plastination’s body donation program and are preserved through plastination, a remarkable scientific process invented by pioneering anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens.
